2007 Conference

Outpatient Outlook 2007, held March 11 to 13 at Pinehurst Resort, brought together 100 executives from imaging, cancer and surgery center developers, as well as hospitals and healthcare systems. The Honorable Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House, delivered the keynote address and outlined his vision of the future of healthcare.

Here is what attendees had to say:

“Outpatient Outlook is a great opportunity to network with other CEOs and learn from leaders in the field. The forward-looking format provides invaluable information for navigating the future of the outpatient care industry.”
—Mark Casner, CEO, Digirad

“The meeting was very informative and it was good to see new people and fresh ideas at such a beautiful location.”
— Jim Chamberlin, President, Specialty Health Partners

“I like the smaller venue and the ability to actually have dialogue with participants and really talk about where the industry is headed. Many conferences are more focused on operational education and data. This, I felt, was a ‘visionary’ conference.”
— Linda Peterson, CEO, Executive Solutions

“Outpatient Outlook delivered a dynamic conference that examined the direction of the outpatient market. Throughout the conference, from Newt Gingrich’s forceful presentation on the direction of healthcare to the break out sessions that examined close-up the strategic issues facing imaging, surgery, oncology and hospitals, Outpatient Outlook was a success. MarCap is proud to have been the Gold Level sponsor of this unique and insightful conference.”
—Peter Myhre, CEO, MarCap Corporation

“We’re very pleased with our experience at Outpatient Outlook. The conference was an enjoyable experience and delivered on its promise of a strategic overview of the outpatient market. The speakers were thought provoking and relevant. As a sponsor, our target market was present and thanks to the roundtable discussions, we came away with contacts we believe will result in new business and gained a better understanding of the future of our market. We will definitely return to Outpatient Outlook.”
