Dr. William Gerardi, Medical Director, Enterprise Business Process at Health Care Service Corporation

Dr. William E. Gerardi is Medical Director, Enterprise Business Process at Health Care Service Corporation, parent company of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. Dr. Gerardi spent four years with the United States Navy, serving as a Chief Medical Officer with the Naval Support Force Antarctica. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University College of Arts and Sciences, received his M.D. from Georgetown University Medical School and is a Board-certified internist. Dr. Gerardi also had an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where he was a Kaiser Family Foundation Fellow. Dr. Gerardi is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
