Michael L. Blau, Partner, Foley & Lardner

Michael L. Blau will discuss the future of the oncology market, with insights on emerging industry technologies and opportunities for physicians in the burgeoning outpatient market to offer patients the best possible treatment. Based in Boston, Blau advises clients on corporate and regulatory matters and chairs Foley’s Health Care Venture Practice.

Blau co-authored Complying with Stark Physician Self-Referral Rules and Developing and Managing Physician Networks. He formerly served as executive edittor of the American Bar Associate publication The Tax Lawyer. Blau received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is the past chair and active member of the Health Law Section of the Boston Bar Association (BBA).

Outside of his law practice, Blau is a partner in Angel Healthcare Investors, LLC, a Boston-based health care venture capital company specializing in investment opportunities in early-stage healthcare and life sciences companies.
