Michael D. Faas, President and CEO, Metro Health

Michael D. Faas has served as President and CEO of Metro Health since 1994. Under his tenure, the company has grown from a single hospital campus into a regional health care system including a physician-owned hospital, 12 ambulatory care centers and a management service organization. Michael leads Metro Health’s green initiatives, which include the newly opened, LEED accredited Metro Health Village. The 170-acre health care campus features private patient rooms with views of the natural landscape, green construction materials, energy efficient utilities and a green roof.

Faas will describe how Metro Health aspires to create a true healing environment that both improves the patient healing process and lowers healthcare costs.
